Valinor/Dira Mortis-'Remembrance/Murder Epidemie' Apocalypse Prod.

I hope you remember Valinor, I reviewed their album in my 8th issue. On this split tape they've used 6 songs of well structured & very melodic death/black with moody dark elements. The song 'Remembrance' is the one that makes good atmosphere. They`ve using keyboards but, they're not many key parts on this material. I must say Valinor ar e influenced by the older bands, that can be noticed by the way of their playing. Dira Mortis ar e also hailing from Poland . As I played the ` Be'side, I fade into silence nearly 5 min. I quess there was some dubbing problem. Well, these guys ar e opposite to Valinor's music and ar e practicing extreme & brutal DM, that reminds on Incantation. There is la ck of that dark heaviness in their music, so they can reach that Incantation sound. There ar e only two guys behind this band. There aren't some origina l ideas that would characterize their sound. There is a lot of potential in the drummer, that should work/use mor e complexed rhytms. apocalypse.production@interia.pl
