PULL THE CHAIN
Valinor, according to the bio the band sent us, are a death doom metal five pieces hailing from the cold Poland and who have been around for more than a decade. is the band second record and already saw the light of day in the year 2001. Relying on a new contract with Apocalypse Productions, Valinor re-released this album which shows a band tapping in on both half paced european death metal coupled with lotsa dark / doom surroundings. The vocal works which alternate clean vocal lines (not that successful and even irritating after a short while. Not really weak in the powerless kind of way but I get the feeling the clean works aren't always in the right key) with more guttural parts (way more efficient) brightly compliment the band's musical direction. is for my opinion a nice album and my main complain is that some of the themes may sounds a little bit repetitive at the end.
