VALINOR is an old Polish band, was formed back in 1993! The history is a standard, line-up changes, record sessions and etc... From the musical side we have melodic death-black. 9 tracks on about 35 minutes of sounding. Well, as a whole music is based on various riffs, might it be death or black ones, music itself isn’t something hellish and dark, this is just death-black with huge melodic parts, and also many keyboards’ parts are here. Sometimes VALINOR’s music sounds like heavy metal (see “Hidden Beauty” track for example), sometimes like death metal, and sometimes like both death and black metal. As I said before, don’t think pease here’s darkest side of aforementioned styles. Many melodic tunes sounds with a classical music touches (like DRACO HYPNALIS of Czech), but here are lots of own good ideas also. I can’t say this is unentiresting band, because VALINOR’s music is beautiful and catching one. I liked music of theirs since second listening (the first one didn’t bring me anything catching unfortunatey). Music made in various tempos, with great tempo-changes and good keyboards while songs, also I liked vocals (something like screams, but great looking with it’s music!) and catching solos here and there! Speedy riffs and similar to gothic atmosphere, various riffs and interesting stuff at all waiting here for you. I also did found some progressive means over here, and I should to admit, musicians are really skilled persons, because music is done in good technical way, that means you’ll be not bored with its stuff exactly! One thing I didn’t understand is that this PROMO was recorded back in 2006, and didn’t release by any label still... why so? Hm... Music is worthy to be released... My copy is 186, so looks musicians make promotion for the band... Ok, if you are into melodic metal-death-black with keyboards – support VALINOR now!
