Her e is one brilliant way to support the local Polish acts. Metal Mind has put Polish UG acts along with huge bands such: Cradle of Filth,Napalm Death,The Haunted & Amon amarth. COF ar e opening the CD with `Giled Cunt/thathas a very good catchy start. Turbo ar e practicing some hard rock with HM influences.Tne veterans of the extreme scen e Napalm Death ar e presented with `Silence is Deafening', song that unleashes their anger & sounds powerfull as it should. Here is the band that l don't listen - The Haunted. I don't think that you'll need presentation. The 5th band ar e another vikings (but, this time in the true mean ing of the word)-Amon Amarth. Their trademarks remained the same. Catchy, metody & headbangable riffs. The following act I i ntroduce through comp. Another Polish act Dies Irae. It`s death metal with big amount of polyrhitmic parts in their songs and gives a littie bit HC vibe. Darzamat follows with dark, slower, synth music. Their music has mor e black metal atmosphere, but I didn't like them at all. What a weird name for a band - Anj. They're playing some weird atmo thrash, supported by keyboard background. You may find them interesting. Hedfirst ar e presented with their song 'Scars'. I had to define them as metalcore. I possess one demo of this following Polish band. Mess Age. I liked the demo. They're playing some melodic death, but this song didn`t impressed me much. They can do metter. Hermh ar e opening their track with synths and then suddenly starts fast black metal. Nothing special. We've reached the 12th band, Abused Majesty, which rnusi cally ar e not far away from Hermh, but their song sound better and it's mor e blasphemous the Hermh's. The band that I never had a chance to listen is Pyorrhea. They`re practicing extreme death metal I`ll need to hear mor e of them, cause this way I can just call them promising act. But, the blasting DM & deep death vocals of Supreme Lord, did manage to haunt me down. Killer! Another band that I've a chance to listen for the first time (eventhough I saw their adverts) ar e Hell-Born. Literally speaking the band is interesting but, the song has good and bad moments. Basically it`s death metal with melodic guitar parts. It reminds on old DM acts. Valinor (the guys who sent this CD to my frind Ljupco) ar e next. Cool song title 'God or God?' Vo cal variations, melodic passages and guitar parts dwelling in some atmo death/black. Read my review in Vampir #8, to get the full picture of Valinor. The last band fuckin'kills! Thunderbolt ar e machinery using demonic voices and music that some similarities to Marduk's black metal mixed with some ideas of their own. It's not just black metal, it`s has a little more - that makes them interesting.
